Over fields of characteristic 2 there is a strong connection between bilinear forms and differential forms. I will give a brief
introduction, to both bilinear forms and differential forms over fields of characteristic 2. I will then present a result using this
connection to find the kernel of the natural restriction map between the Witt rings of bilinear forms W F and W K, where
K/F is a simple extension.
