We consider a pair (A,V) where A is a degree 3 central simple algebra over a field F and V is a 3-dimensional vector space of
the trace zero elements of A that is totally isotropic for the trace quadratic form. This pair gives rise to a cubic form mapping
an element of V to its cube. Using Galois cohomology and geometrical properties of cubic forms, we describe explicitly such
pairs up to isomorphism.
