To Konstanz

The closest airport to Konstanz is in Zürich. From Zurich Airport (ZRH) there is a direct train to Konstanz taking approximately one hour.
Trains to Konstanz can be booked via the German railway company Deutsche Bahn as well as the Swiss train company SBB.

Within Konstanz

Local Bus: From Konstanz Hauptbahnhof (stop: Bahnhof) or Konstanz Döbeleplatz (stop: Döbele), take local bus 9 (A, B or C) to the university Haupteingang (stop: Universität). Or, if you're feeling more adventurous, take local bus 4/13 or 13/4 to the back side of the university underneath the Department of Mathematics and Statistics (stop: Egg/Universität). Another bus to the main entrance of the university is number 11. It leaves from the stop Bahnhof Wollmatingen and from the stop Allmannsdorf. If you take this bus, please be careful to take the one in the right direction.

At Universität Konstanz

Arriving at the Haupteingang: Go into the nearest entrance of the main building. You will be on level A5 (that is, building A, floor 5). Room F426 is in building F, on floor 4. Follow signs to building F – you will need to go down one level (to level 4), probably via the main staircase, and pass through buildings B and G before reaching F. Arriving at stop Egg/Universität on Mainaustraße: Walk across the bridge over the road and then up the hill. Enter the university building straight ahead and you will be at level G1 (that is, building G, floor 1). Room F426 is in building F, on floor 4. Go up to level G4 and then follow signs to building F.
